Equine Exchange is a DBA for Oregon Pet Project, a 501c3 Charity here in Newberg, Oregon.

The truth of the matter is, small animal rescues across the US are in a constant struggle for funding and making ends meet. Oregon Pet Project rescues 800+ animals a year and their expenses are continuing to rise. Currently they rely on monetary donations and animal adoptions to keep the lights on. This is a hard place to be as a rescue, because on one hand you do not want to bombard your supporters with constant request for money, and you never want to force an adoption of a pet just to get the fee.

So far the good Lord has been faithful, but the staff at OPP do constantly feel the pressure of making ends meet. 

​

We are branching out and starting Equine Exchange in hopes that it will drive more income to the rescue while providing a service to our equestrian community. 

​

What's better than dogs, cats,  and horses anyways?

Because Oregon Pet Project is a 501c3 charity, the value of any tack can be fully tax deductible!
